Debbie Reynolds, Mother of Carrie Fisher, Has Passed Away

In a tragic turn of events, Hollywood has lost yet another iconic woman. Debbie Reynolds, mother of Carrie Fisher, passed away at the age of 84. Her daughter, Carrie, passed away the previous day. It was reported Reynolds suffered a stroke while making funeral arrangements for Fisher. She was in great pain over the loss of her daughter.

Reynolds was famous for her roles in films, including Singin’ In The Rain, Three Little Words, and Tammy and the Bachelor. Though she was called “America’s Sweetheart”,  she had a tempestuous love life. Her former husband, singer Eddie Fisher, left Reynolds and his family to marry the woman known at the time as “the most beautiful woman in the world”, also known as Elizabeth Taylor.

The loss of Fisher and Reynolds has been nothing short of tragic. They will always regarded as two of Hollywood’s most iconic actresses of their time.
